We’re getting excited to go on the last ICGL Study Tour of the 2014-15 school year. We head out tomorrow morning to Namibia and Botswana. After a year spent examining WATER in the United States, we are eager to explore, and learn from, the challenges faced by these two southern African countries.
Our trip will take us from Windhoek through Botswana, deep into the Okavango Delta, then up into the Caprivi Strip, through Etosha National Park, down to Swakopmund near Walvis Bay (also known as the skeleton coast region), out to the Soussusvlei, and then back to Windhoek.
We hope to see everything from unique indigenous species of frogs to elephants, lions and hippos.
